Requirements

Server

• A Linux host with a public IPv4 address. Ubuntu 22.04+ or Debian 12+ is recommended.
• 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM is plenty for a small team (for example, a $12/month DigitalOcean droplet).
• curl and openssl installed. The installer checks for both.
• Docker 24+ with the Docker Compose plugin. The installer installs Docker for you if it is missing (using the official get.docker.com script); on Debian/Ubuntu the compose plugin is apt install docker-compose-plugin.
• About 800 MB of disk for the container images, plus room for the database.

Domain

A domain name you can point at the server, for example voice.yourdomain.com. The same hostname serves the web app, the API and the browser dialer’s secure WebSocket, and Let’s Encrypt issues its certificate. See Networking.

Note

Without Deepgram and OpenAI keys Comcent still handles calls, queues and recordings; the AI features and voice bots are simply unavailable.
